Werkstoff AISI 304:
Edelstahl AISI 304, weit verbreitet als korrosions- und hitzebeständiger Stahl und auch als nichtmagnetischer Stahl, eignet sich am besten in korrosiven Umgebungen, in
denen Edelstahl AISI 440C nicht verwendet werden kann.
Chemische Zusammensetzung: C ≤ 0,08, Si ≤ 0,75, Mn ≤ 2,00, P: 0,045, S: 0,03, Cr: 18,0–20,0, Mo: 8,0–10,5, Ni ≤ 0,10
Werkstoff AISI 316L:
Edelstahl 316L, der im Vergleich zu Lagern aus herkömmlichem Stahl und Edelstahl 440 eine überlegene Korrosionsbeständigkeit bietet.
Edelstahl 316L ist der Standard-Edelstahl mit Molybdän. Das Molybdän verleiht 316 insgesamt bessere Korrosionsbeständigkeitseigenschaften als Güte 304,
insbesondere eine höhere Beständigkeit gegen Lochfraß und Spaltkorrosion in Chloridumgebungen.
